Hi Noah.
As you will be aware, I have renovated and customised many Seiko divers using your parts. Would you be interested in some pictures for your "customer creations" album?
Have you found a source for crystal gaskets for the 6309/7002 cases?

Hi Noah, quite an interesting project you`ve got going here.
The proto looks like proper business, classical styling but with some sorely needed practical modifications, love the beefy case!
If I were to suggest a change,it would be to add a diamond cut to the bezel sides,in the same style as the crown shown in 004.This would really make this watch stand out.
Best of luck with your great endeavour, guts and ambition is the way to glory!
Cheers

| ive got to say that its a great idea you've got there noah....theres such a gap in the market for something like this at the moment....what with 6309's becoming harder to come by, this should be a winner......love the idea of the far superior movt + the fact that your own parts will fit..... |

Hey Noah,
Good chatting with you last night. Glad we were able to come together on the final cuts of the UDT. It is sure to be a hit with my guys down in Coronado as they helped me out a bit with the input. As you know, the best way to get results is to go to the source and check it it out.......Well, the sources have spoken and the quality of your craft will surely be reflected in the Design and pure functionality of the LE UDT version!
I can tell you one thing, Noah was relentless in his persuit of a true "Servicemen" designed watch. We met very much by chance by through a mutual friend who had no idea that we would know of eachother. Shortly upon meeting we had some beers and the watch talk began. Well, quite a few beers down the road, the conversation dabbled in watch designs and of course a certain Seiko based custom model !! Noah was looking to get a Navy guy to give him some ideas for a Limited Edition and if I knew such a person......Of course I knew some guys, me being one of them.
So I went to work gathering Ideas from around the Team area. I showed some ideas around and gathered input. What I came up with is reflected in the UDT. From the name "UDT" which pays homage to the early UDT Teams or "Frogmen" to the Logo on the dial (frogbone) and caseback which can be found in the form of a tattoo sported by many current SEALs (I have one myself). The phone conversations were long and the e-mails with ideas and drawings were a blazin' and this is what we came up with......The LE Tsunami-UDT (Underwater Dive Timer).
Hope you'll enjoy it as it is meant to be worn and used as intended. I have held the Prototype case in my very hands and it is T-U-F-F Tuff (Tough)!!
Enjoy fellas, Noah landed a triple axel (I would have said hit a homerun but he is Canadian and figure skating seemed more fitting!! !!)
